Okay I missed 3 days because I was out of cairo, but I will try to make it up for the sake of the project..


I was playing with my favorite font, "American typewriter" / trying to create a logo, and I came up with this, I wont use it but I Just like it, it is reminding me of the eye testing board.

"Teh Marbota" D1

I decided to blow in the fire, and produce my 1st entry today, the idea was put on the canavas a long time ago but finished only today

"Teh marbota" is an arabic letter that defines a female version of a word - and it refers to the female figure in East who is stuck in traditions and attacked by un-civilized actions.

This blog is about challenge, I decided to put myself into a challenge to create an art work everyday for 3 months.

How did I get the idea?
I just watched the movie Julie and Julia yesterday, it's not the direct reason, of course it inspired me but I had the decision after coming by chance across this post

Since I believe in signs, I decided to start

so let's hope I keep it counted, I need 90 designs by 24 March 2010.
